The 1931 carburetor was pretty interesting.
It was the last year of the up-draft model (where the carburetor is
mounted upside-down.)
There were a couple of aftermarket models which performed a little
better than the Carter but in general there was no reason to upgrade this
item. (See the KANE.)
There was a different air filter for each of the first three years of
the new six cylinder engine. This model only fits the 1931. It also
included a bracket to hold the throttle and choke cables.
