1931 Radiator Fan

(and other substitute years)


The proper fan blade for Chevrolet passenger cars in 1931 was a two bladed fan.

Most people replaced this with a four-bladed fan at some point in time.  The cooling improvement is very noticeable.
In later years, this 4-blade fan was the only replacement available from Chevrolet.

Notes:  * Early truck configuration is in doubt.  The 1931 Repair Manual on page 37 shows a two bladed fan (shape 1)  for 1931 LT trucks.  The 1932 Repair Manual shows a four-bladed fan (shape 2).  By the 1934 parts books, it lists the more modern four-bladed fan (shape 3).
