In September 1931 Chevrolet announced
the Genuine Chevrolet Hot Water Heater for their cars. While this was
intended to be a 1932 feature, it came out early enough to be considered a
standard option for 1931. Once you decided to get one of these, the next
issue was how to hook it up. I've seen many different hose runs and
connection types. Since they were installed by dealers, you can expect
that there was a lot of variations in how they were installed.
